News Update: JetBlue signs deal to offer Wi-Fi on flights

JetBlue joins the ranks of other airline carriers like AirTran and Virgin America and is adding Wi-Fi on flights. The AP reports that JetBlue signed a deal with ViaSat, Inc. to have satellite broadband Internet and TV service on its fleet of 160 planes. The system must first be tested and certified by the Federal Aviation Administration. While no price has been indicated by JetBlue at this point, the AP reports that Airline Wi-Fi expert Michael Planey estimates hardware and infrastructure will cost approximately to million.

Does it cost to use WiFi on Princess Cruises?
3Hello! I’m going on a cruise through Princess Cruises soon aboard the Island Princess. I know the ship has an internet cafe and I have read that this company has WiFi access for those with laptops. I want to bring mine but I would like to know if you have to pay in order to access the internet. Some coffee cafes in my town require you to pay in order to use their service and I wasn’t sure if cruises worked the same way. Any information you can provide would be helpful. Thanks!
