Alan Wilson – Tardive Dyskinesia
25emergency only health insurance
This is a video I made about my father, Alan Wilson. My father has been unable to work for quite some time, therefore he has no income and no insurance. I have been letting him live with me for the past several months, as he has nowhere else to go. Unable to afford to go to a doctor, the only medical help he has received is from the emergency room, who could do very little for him. The emergency room doctors told him he would have to see a neurologist to get the help he needed. We cannot afford to see a neurologist. My father applied for Medicaid and Disability and was denied for both because he could not prove that he had a medical problem. I made this video to show our North Carolina representatives and senators, President Obama and the people of America why we so desperately need to overhaul the health care system. My hope is that one of them may see this and offer to assist us. Please watch and understand why health care reform is important to me and my family. The New York Times said Sheera Ben-David’s cabaret show “is a compelling
